Introduction to Photography
Course Description: This course provides an introduction to the basics of photography, including camera settings, composition, lighting, portraits, landscapes, action photography, street photography, black and white photography, and product photography. Students will learn the technical and creative aspects of photography through hands-on practice, critiques, and discussions.
Learning Objectives: By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand the basics of photography and camera settings
- Apply composition techniques to create visually appealing photos
- Use different lighting techniques to enhance their photos
- Take portrait, landscape, action, street, black and white, and product photos using different techniques
- Edit and present their photos using basic editing software

Teaching Methodology: This course will use a combination of lectures, demonstrations, in-class exercises, critiques, and discussions. Students will also be expected to practice outside of class and submit their work for feedback.
Assessment: Assessment will be based on class participation, completion of assignments, and the final project. Students will receive regular feedback on their work to help them improve.
Prerequisites: No previous photography experience is required for this course.
